This is a post with two aims: one, to test out what this ‘aside’ business will look like when I put it on my blog, and two, to tell you guys that I’m late to the party but thoroughly enjoyed this essay by Michael Pollan on the food industry (US-centric, but Australians can definitely take lessons from it!) discussing the rise of “nutritionism” making us fatter, among other things.
So much so that I ordered his book “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” from the UK and am currently right into it (yeah, sorry, online retail is a category-killer when it comes to books). I’ll review it properly when I’m finished.
